Syrian and Russian Ministers Visit the Syrian Gymnastics Federation to Strengthen Bilateral Sports Cooperation
Today (17.11.2025), at the headquarters of the Syrian Gymnastics Federation and the Al-Fayhaa Gymnastics Hall, we welcomed the Minister of Sports and Youth, Mr. Mohammad Samah Al-Hamed, along with Mikhail Vladimirovich Degtyarev, the Russian Minister of Youth and Sports.
Today (17.11.2025), at the headquarters of the Syrian Gymnastics Federation and the Al-Fayhaa Gymnastics Hall, we welcomed the Minister of Sports and Youth, Mr. Mohammad Samah Al-Hamed, along with Mikhail Vladimirovich Degtyarev, the Russian Minister of Youth and Sports.
Minister Al-Hamed toured the national teams’ training hall and the federation’s headquarters, accompanied by the Russian minister. They met with the male and female gymnasts, and the working structure of the federation and the National Specialized Gymnastics School was presented, along with an overview of the current situation of Syrian gymnastics, the national teams, international participation, and requirements needed to support gymnastics in beloved Syria.
Discussions also covered the necessary equipment and apparatus, and ways to strengthen cooperation with the Russian Gymnastics Federation in all fields—especially since Syrian gymnastics follows the advanced Russian school system across all gymnastics disciplines 💚
